Founded in Paris in 2016, is a gay-friendly online community and marketplace, now present in more than 30 countries and 40 cities, from the most popular LGBT destinations such as Barcelona, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Madrid, Paris, to cities out of the gay bitten tracks such as Bratislava,  or Oslo.

Quaint towns, beautiful villages and remote areas can be offered too, such as Camargue in south of France, or Puglia in Italy.

The Gaybassadors’ community

Gaybassadors are friendly locals, with a real knowledge of their city history, culture, habits and a personal experience of gay local life. All of them are passionate about the place they live in and most of them already love to show/share their city with their friends and family. They make travellers discover the well-known areas and monuments but also all the secret places that just local people know about, away from common sightseeing. is not a travel agency but an intermediary between gay/gay friendly locals and travellers. Therefore, we do not offer the usual tourists guided tour with umbrellas, but a quality personalised lifestyle tour for singles, couples or small groups of friends (4 persons maximum).

Gaybassador offer through their listing a very clear and precise program for a 2, 3 or 4 hours visit. Then they can adapt to the personality, previous experience, special needs or interests of travellers. Each Gaybassadors has to offer / show :

Founder of the web agency Touaregs, Jean-Philippe has more than 15 years’ experience managing Internet projects, providing technical direction and strategic support for large companies, mainly in relation with customer loyalty program and e-commerce packages. With a passion for travel, he has an in-depth knowledge of European countries and Japan.

Business Model helps gay community by offering gay/gay friendly locals a new way to earn some extra money from their spare time and local knowledge, and offering gay travellers a new way to discover a city like a local through a private visit, for a very affordable price.

We recommend to Gaybassadors an hourly rate of 22 to 44 euros depending on their city, based on 2, 3 or 4 hours walking tour, with a maximum of 4 people. Registered guides can decide to charge a bit more, as they have more experience and qualification. receives a 25% commission on bookings. Payments are made through our platform, using Sharetribe and PayPal Pro secured system.
